Hey there! I’m Tanya, the one and only Sassy Fabric Queen — yes, the crown is metaphorical… mostly.

Sewing isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s practically woven into my DNA. I grew up perched beside my mother as she crafted breathtaking wedding gowns on her hand‑crank Singer, all while patiently teaching me how to whip up tiny outfits for my dolls.

Fast‑forward to 2019, when Rad Fabrics NZ burst onto the scene with custom‑printed fabric sold right here in Aotearoa. Suddenly, a whole new world of colour, creativity, and “OMG I need that print” opened up for me.

Then came the truly life‑changing moment: at the end of 2020, I realized buying beautiful fabric wasn’t enough — I wanted to be the one running the show. So I crowned myself Queen and stepped into the world of fabric with all the sass and sparkle I could muster.

When I’m not busy ruling the Sassy Fabric Kingdom, I’m a proud mum to an incredible young woman who amazes me daily, and a wife to the most patient man on earth — a man who genuinely treats me like royalty.
