Kelly Jeans - Rad Patterns

Life has this adorable habit of throwing itself at me every time I try to sew. Honestly, the drama.

Concerts have once again become the must‑attend event, and now that I’m rocking the 50+ club, comfort is non‑negotiable. We’re talking comfort over fashion - though if I can have both, I absolutely will.

The hunt for almost‑perfect jeans? A patience‑testing, wallet‑draining saga. But then the Kelly Jeans from Rad Patterns strutted into my life and—cue the spotlight—we have a winner.

They’re designed for woven fabric with a boyfriend‑jeans vibe, but of course I went full rebel and used stretch denim. Then I widened the legs a smidge because why not chase perfection, and voilà: the fit of my dreams.

And get this—these are my first ever jeans (or pants, period) with a functioning button and zip. I used to stick to pull‑on pants because zippers felt like a personal attack. But did I stop at “just add a zip”? Absolutely not. I went all in with a button‑up and… it’s love. Full swoon.
